This ATOMIC-SHOP Toyota GR Yaris Gen1, built in our Dubai facility, is very much in that last category.

This is not a GR Yaris built for dyno-sheet bragging or social media posturing. It is built for the moment a chassis loads up properly in a fast corner and the steering provides total clarity. You can go full throttle on the exit knowing the car will react exactly as intended.

The Philosophy of Repeatability

Modern performance cars are too often drowned in marketing noise—endless horsepower arguments, giant screens, and touch-sensitive distractions. A real driver’s car is different. It is not about headline drama; it is about repeatability, honesty, and feel. It is about whether the machine maintains its composure on lap four as well as it did on lap one. A Coherent Strategy: Power and Cooling

The power and cooling package we’ve engineered is a proper, grown-up bit of engineering. We have integrated the HKS SUPER TURBO MATTE EDITION exhaust system, the HKS Metal Catalyzer, HKS Cold Air Intake Full Kit, HKS SUPER SQV4 blow-off valves with the return kit, an upgraded HKS intercooler, the HKS Oil Cooler Kit S Type, and an EcuTek ECU tune to tie the lot together. This is not a random shopping spree; it is a coherent strategy.

The exhaust and metal catalyst let the turbo three-cylinder breathe more freely without turning the car into a one-note nuisance. The intake improves airflow, feeding the engine cooler, cleaner air. Crucially, the upgraded cooling system ensures that even under intense heat, the car never goes soft. We tuned this Yaris for usable punch, stronger response, and consistency. When a chassis is this well sorted, every input feels precise and intentional.

Unsprung Intent: Wheels, Tyres, and Aero

The wheel and tyre setup is spot on as well: RAYS G2 wheels in 18x9 ET35 wrapped in MICHELIN Cup 2 tyres. This provides the steering precision and sidewall control needed for serious track use. Weight is just a statistic until you feel a car change direction cleanly at speed. Then it becomes an emotion.

Visually, we've made the car look more purposeful without tipping into cosplay. The HKS Aero Body Kit Carbon TYPE-S contributes to the car’s sense of stability at speed. The CUSCO tow hook is another right touch—not glamorous, but essential for a car that is meant to be used properly.

Under the bonnet, we also installed the HKS carbon engine cover and HKS carbon fuse box cover. While these don't lower lap times, a complete build is about more than stopwatch gains. Details matter. When you open the bonnet, you should feel that the job was finished to the highest standard.

The Cockpit: From Competent to Purposeful

Inside, we transformed the cabin into a purposeful workspace. The RECARO Pole Position (ABE) Black Velour seats, paired with RECARO double-locking slide runners and ARD seat bases, are exactly what this car needs. A proper fixed-back seat changes the experience—you stop bracing against the interior and start focusing purely on your line.

The rear seat delete with strut bar and net is another excellent decision. It saves weight and adds rigidity, declaring the car’s intentions. It is no longer a compromise; it is a car leaning into its best qualities. Even the HKS floor mats signify that in a serious project, every detail is accounted for.
