Description RECARO 078.01.2B21 Race Seat Podium CF Right Side (ABE / FIA), Black Velour, Size M
The RECARO Podium CF is a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) racing shell seat engineered for combined road and track use. Featuring FIA homologation and German ABE approval, it is the only retrofit shell seat on the market certified for motorsport competition while remaining approved for public road applications. This version is configured for the right side and finished in Black Velour, supplied with Pad Kit M for drivers of medium build.
The lightweight CFRP shell integrates visible structural elements, an integrated headrest, and pronounced lateral support in both the backrest and seat cushion areas. Specially formed shoulder contours ensure compatibility with head and neck safety systems such as HANS. Replaceable pads of varying thicknesses provide ergonomic adaptability while maintaining a slim motorsport-oriented profile. The open-back shell construction supports passive ventilation for improved comfort during extended driving sessions.
