The RECARO 375233 dummy side airbag sensor is a resistor-based wiring adapter designed to simulate the presence of a side airbag in Opel vehicles. It is used when replacing factory seats equipped with side airbags with RECARO sport seats that do not include integrated airbags. The resistor sends a signal to the vehicle’s electronic control unit, preventing airbag system errors and warning indicators on the dashboard.
