The seat mounting is a safety-critical component developed using FEM simulation to support safety and weight optimisation.

The console is designed to provide the lowest possible central seating position in front of the steering wheel. Cut-outs and component shapes are based on calculated and simulated stress distribution under load. Prior measurement using a 3D laser scanner supports reduced mounting hardware, easier installation, and maximum use of the available installation space.

Reduced lever arms between mounting points help lower torque loads on the components

Expandable with lap belt mounting

Suitable rail available as an optional extra

Requires individual approval in accordance with §21 by TÜV

Specifications:

Installation Position: Driver’s side

Optional Matching Rail: Available separately

Recaro Sportster CS Compatibility: Not suitable

Registration Requirement: Individual approval in accordance with §21 by TÜV is required

Road Use: Motorsport products are not automatically approved under the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO)

Kit comes with:

1x seat console, driver or passenger

1x left L-adapter

1x right L-adapter

1x pack of mounting hardware

Operating instructions on the product page

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0628/2605/3812/files/image-coming-soon_833933e0-c227-4f5a-8edd-466f5d4e1fac.png?v=1791800309
https://atomic-shop.eu/products/speed-engineering-15074-seat-console-with-adapter-drivers-side-for-volkswagen-golf-mk1-mk2
