Description AKRAPOVIC ME-BM/T/2 Exhaust System Evolution Line (Titanium) for BMW M3 (E92 / E93) 2007-2013
The Akrapovic Evolution performance exhaust system for the BMW M3 is engineered to deliver a significant increase in performance, responsiveness, and weight reduction. The system consists of dual-outlet mufflers, flow-optimized link pipes, and an X-pipe incorporating high-flow 100 cpsi sports catalytic converters and resonators.
Substantial gains in power and torque are achieved across a very wide rpm range, improving throttle response in all driving conditions. Combined with major weight savings, the Evolution system dramatically enhances the power-to-weight ratio of the BMW M3.
Sound characteristics were carefully developed to provide a deep and rich growl during cruising, while producing an aggressive roar under hard driving without compromising overall sound quality. The visual appearance can be completed with a set of two titanium or carbon fibre tailpipes.
When installing Akrapovic aftermarket optional downpipes with sports catalytic converters or without catalytic converters, developed exclusively for closed-track use, ECU remapping is mandatory. For Akrapovic exhaust systems developed for closed-track use, ECU remapping is recommended to prevent potential check engine light warnings.
This product does not meet emission compliance requirements for street or highway use.
