The Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system is manufactured from proprietary titanium and engineered to enhance performance, responsiveness, and weight efficiency of the BMW M6. The system features newly developed dual-outlet mufflers with integrated exhaust valves, flow-optimized piping, and a unique cast titanium X-shaped section with resonators.

The optimized exhaust layout lowers back pressure and delivers increased power across the entire rpm range while retaining the factory catalytic converters. Improved throttle response and a significantly enhanced power-to-weight ratio are achieved without compromising system integration. Sound characteristics are refined, offering a deep sporty tone that develops into an aggressive roar under hard driving, without unwanted droning.

The system is fully compatible with the M6 active noise cancellation (ANC) system. Exhaust valve operation is controlled via the vehicle’s factory settings. The appearance can be completed with a set of four titanium or carbon fibre tailpipes.
