The Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system for the BMW M6 Gran Coupe is manufactured from proprietary titanium and engineered to enhance performance, responsiveness, and weight efficiency. The system features newly developed dual-outlet mufflers with integrated exhaust valves, flow-optimized piping, and a unique cast titanium X-shaped section with resonators.

Lower back pressure allows increased power delivery across the entire rpm range while retaining the factory catalytic converters. Throttle response is improved and a superior power-to-weight ratio is achieved through significant weight reduction. The exhaust sound is deep and sporty, developing into an aggressive roar under hard driving conditions without unwanted droning.

The system is fully compatible with the M6 Gran Coupe active noise cancellation (ANC) system, and exhaust valve operation is controlled via the vehicle’s factory settings. The appearance can be completed with a set of four titanium or carbon fibre tailpipes.
