The Akrapovič S-H5SO6-HRC Slip-On Line exhaust is precisely engineered to complement the design lines of the HONDA CB400, 500X, CB500, and NX500. Crafted with a carbon-fibre outer sleeve and end cap, it incorporates a stainless-steel link pipe and inner muffler structure. This configuration delivers a substantial weight reduction of 48.8% (2 kg) compared to the original system. Performance enhancements include a power increase of 0.6 kW (0.8 hp) at 7,450 rpm and an added 0.8 Nm of torque at 4,600 rpm, confirmed through Akrapovič dyno testing on a Honda NX500. The exhaust produces a rich and deep tone that reflects the character of the twin-cylinder engine. It is Euro5+ EC/ECE compliant and features a straightforward plug-and-play installation without the need for ECU remapping. Fitment and performance are based on EU-spec motorcycles; variations may occur outside this market.
