Developing an aftermarket exhaust system for the Porsche 911 presents a significant engineering challenge. The Akrapovic Slip-On (Titanium) delivers a dual-character configuration designed to enhance both performance and acoustic refinement.

Without the optional Akrapovic Sound Kit, the exhaust valves are controlled by the vehicle’s factory electronics. With the valves closed, the system produces a deeper tone compared to stock while maintaining similar sound levels. When the valves are open, the exhaust delivers a distinctly race-inspired sound profile with pronounced overrun effects, while minimizing unwanted drone.

Constructed from a special heat-resistant and durable titanium alloy, the system incorporates computer-designed pre-mufflers, main mufflers, and optimized piping to increase power and torque, reduce weight, and improve throttle response.

Fitment notice: For Porsche 911 Carrera 3.4 models (Carrera and Carrera 4), this system is designed to replace the Porsche Sport Exhaust system. The Akrapovic system is not compatible with Carrera and Carrera 4 models equipped with the non-sport exhaust system.
