This exhaust system is developed through close cooperation between Akrapovič Racing R&D and R&D departments, resulting in a design that closely matches the specifications used by the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP Team for the 2023 Motocross World Championship. The tailored construction maximizes the available mounting space, providing the largest possible volume for sound silencing while maintaining optimized gas flow from the combustion chamber with minimal restriction.

The system is manufactured entirely from lightweight, high-grade titanium alloys and achieves a weight reduction of 20.4% (0.9 kg) compared with the stock exhaust. Varying material thicknesses across different sections provide enhanced protection, structural strength, and reduced mass. Performance improvements include increased responsiveness through the full rev range, with gains measured at 1.8 kW (2.4 hp) at 10,600 rpm and 1.5 Nm at 10,500 rpm during in-house back-to-back testing against a standard system.

A newly profiled exterior surface contributes to a deep, full sound profile. An integrated resonance chamber supports optimal performance while ensuring compliance with FIM noise limits. A specialized technique is used to apply the Akrapovič logo without stickers or engraving. Designed exclusively for closed-course competition, the system offers plug-and-play installation with no remapping requirements.
