Description AKRAPOVIC S-Y9R22-HKKSS Exhaust Racing Line (Stainless Steel) for YAMAHA MT-09 / FZ-09 2025
Inspired by the concept presented at EICMA 2024, this full exhaust system is engineered to integrate seamlessly with the motorcycle’s design. It is constructed as a single piece from high-grade stainless steel and shaped using advanced manufacturing technology, with the catalytic converter welded directly inside the muffler. The exterior is finished with two handmade carbon-fibre covers featuring a dual outlet, honeycomb-style exhaust protection, and an Akrapovič logo in red and white.
The system is designed for plug-and-play installation with no remapping required. Development focused on achieving optimal throttle response and consistent performance, resulting in measured increases of 0.3 kW (0.4 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 0.7 Nm at 8,000 rpm when compared with a Yamaha Tracer 9 equipped with a standard exhaust and tested on the Akrapovič in-house dyno. Weight is reduced by 13.2% (1.0 kg) relative to the stock system. Delivering a deep, sporty sound, the exhaust is EC/ECE type approved and compliant with Euro 5+ regulations.
The design also allows installation alongside side cases and the original Yamaha centre stand.
