The Akrapovic Racing Line Titanium exhaust system features a lightweight black-coated titanium muffler outer sleeve, stainless-steel headers and link pipes, and a titanium end cap. The new design uses a shorter muffler for a sportier appearance, with a side exit that adds a distinctive visual effect to the motorcycle.

Power is increased by 3.3 kW / 4.5 hp at 9,600 rpm when compared in back-to-back tests on a Yamaha MT-09 with a Racing Line (Carbon) exhaust and a standard stock exhaust system. The racing sound is tuned to the engine, and the system is designed for use on tracks and closed-course competition circuits.

The exhaust system is compatible with Yamaha hard cases and centre stand accessories. When installing the Racing Line exhaust system on MY 2024–2026 Euro 5+ motorcycles with two lambda sensors, the engine check light will appear after detecting a deviation in the stock catalytic converter parameters. The mandatory P-HF1706 fitting kit, including the bracket and mounting material, must be ordered separately.

For optimal performance, rideability, and durability, special electronic equipment developed by Rapid Bike by Dimsport may be used. This device can help avoid potential check engine light issues while optimizing power delivery, personalizing the riding experience, and providing a diagnostic tool for the user. Rapid Bike Smart device part number K27-SMR2-016 is available for Euro 5+ Yamaha MT-09 and Tracer 9.

When installing the Racing Line (Titanium) exhaust system on MY 2021–2023 motorcycles, the check engine light will appear; therefore, ECU remapping is mandatory. The mandatory P-HF1707 fitting kit, including the bracket and mounting material, must be ordered separately. This product does not meet emission compliance requirements for street or highway use.
