The Alpha R35 GT-R 90mm Catted Midpipe is among the largest midpipes available for the market. While most systems use two 76mm (3”) pipes merging into a single 76mm (3”) primary pipe, this design features a larger 90mm (3.5”) primary pipe to optimize exhaust gas flow. This reduces turbulence and back pressure, which helps free up horsepower and improve turbo response.

To ensure the R35 GT-R remains compliant with state and local emissions regulations, the midpipe incorporates high flow catalytic converters that are EPA certified in 49 states. The GESI Ultra High Output (UHO) stainless steel cats provide a high level of emissions control without a notable loss in horsepower compared to a cat-less midpipe.

With the Alpha 90mm Catted Midpipe installed, the GT-R maintains the power of a straight pipe setup while remaining emissions compliant. The catalytic converters are designed for racing and can handle severe driving conditions, withstanding up to 1500 degrees F and resisting rattling after repeated heat cycles. The midpipe is constructed from high quality stainless steel and hand TIG welded, with stainless steel flex sections and 3/8” thick connecting flanges for durability.
