Description AMS ALP.07.08.0006-3 CNC Big Bore Throttle Body Set (With Standard Hose Flanges) for NISSAN GT-R (R35)
At approximately 800HP, the stock throttle bodies become a restriction in the intake system. The negative impact of this bottleneck increases significantly as power levels rise further. By enlarging the throttle body diameter from the stock 60mm (ID) to 73.5mm (ID), the cross-sectional area is increased by 50%. This results in improved power gains, especially above the 1000HP mark.
The 73.5mm throttle bodies are the largest OEM-style available on the market. They offer a 22.5% increase in diameter and a 50% increase in cross-sectional area. These throttle bodies enhance mid-range and top-end power without negatively affecting low-end performance. They are available with 3″ AMS QuickClamp, 3″ Vibrant HD Clamp, or 3″ Standard (Silicone Hose) flanges.
