Description AMS ALP.07.08.0006-4 CNC Big Bore Throttle Body Set (With Vibrant HD Flanges) for NISSAN GT-R (R35)

At approximately 800HP, the stock throttle bodies become a restriction in the intake system. The negative effects of this bottleneck increase significantly as power rises beyond this point. By enlarging the throttle body diameter from the stock 60mm (ID) to 73.5mm (ID), the cross-sectional area is increased by 50%, resulting in improved power gains, especially above the 1000HP mark.

These 73.5mm throttle bodies are the largest OEM-style units available. They offer a 22.5% increase in diameter and a 50% increase in cross-sectional area. The design enhances mid-range and top-end power without negatively impacting low-end power. Options include 3″ AMS QuickClamp™, 3″ Vibrant HD Clamp, or 3″ Standard (Silicone Hose) flanges.
