The Mercedes-Benz M133 2.0L AMG engine offers strong entry-level luxury class performance. While Mercedes-Benz rates the 45 Series AMG at 375HP and 350 ft-lbs, these figures are often conservative. Testing with a stock 2014 CLA45 AMG resulted in 401HP and 363 ft-lbs. AMS has developed a method to further unlock the engine's potential.

An Alpha calibration file, combined with the Alpha Performance Downpipe and Alpha A Series Filter, optimizes camshaft timing, boost, and air/fuel ratios. This setup enables the 2.0L turbocharged AMG to reach 454 horsepower.

Note: This is not a generic off-the-shelf tune.

  • Alpha calibration, downpipe, and filter deliver significant power gains
  • Torque output increases to 491 ft-lbs, a gain of nearly 130 ft-lbs
  • Power is enhanced early in the powerband and maintained throughout the rpm range
  • Stock-like drivability and fuel economy at partial throttle are retained
