The AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Front Mount Intercooler is a direct bolt-on upgrade that utilizes the stock piping and mounting points. It features purpose-built cast end tanks specifically designed for the Evolution 10. This intercooler provides over 80% more internal flow area than the stock unit.

On a stock Evolution 10, this intercooler delivered a gain of 10 wheel horsepower over the factory core, achieved simply by installation without ECU re-tuning. The AMS intercooler is engineered for superior performance and durability, featuring cast aluminum end tanks made from A356 T6 Alloy for improved flow and strength. Each unit is hand TIG welded, pressure tested to 50 psi, and uses a high-quality Garrett core.

The bar and plate style core measures 12.4″ tall, 20″ wide, and 3.5″ thick, with a flow capacity of 1250 cfm. Installation retains the factory crash beam, uses all factory mounting points, and requires no cutting or trimming. The design incorporates an angled inlet for proper fitment with the intercooler piping.
