The AMS Performance 2019+ BMW M340i B58 Heat Exchanger is designed to help maintain lower intake temperatures and preserve maximum power output, whether in hot climates, during drag racing, or on high-speed airstrips. The 3.0L turbocharged B58 engine uses a coolant-based air-to-water heat exchanger instead of a traditional air-to-air front mount intercooler. While effective under stock conditions, the OEM system can become heat soaked, reducing horsepower.

This heat exchanger features a CNC machined 6061 T6 billet aluminum construction and is engineered for plug and play installation using OEM-style fitment features for secure mounting. It offers a 122% increase in fluid capacity and a 54% increase in core volume over the stock unit, improving thermal stability and cooling efficiency.

The dual-pass core design and 5mm tall louvered fins maximize heat transfer and cooling performance. The heat exchanger is designed using CAD software and has undergone extensive R&D and on-track testing to ensure optimal fitment and performance. It installs without cutting or drilling, utilizing factory hoses, clamps, and mounting points.
