Description BORLA 140453 Cat Back Exhaust System CORV C6 05- 08 "ATAK"
This system is designed to fit vehicles with and without NPP. The system does not include NPP valves. It features a Merge X-Pipe for increased power and enhanced sound, along with dual 4" round polished T-304 stainless steel tips on each muffler assembly for a sharp appearance.
The exhaust technology allows for precise, vehicle-specific control over the acoustical note throughout the RPM range, while maintaining the power-adding capabilities of the patented Multicore design. ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics) technology produces the highest available decibel levels in the street-legal lineup and is intended for high-performance purists who prefer exhaust notes over stereo sound.
ATAK focuses on delivering high volume with clarity, avoiding the drone and distortion common in louder exhausts. The sound output is tuned to shape and focus sound waves for optimal high-volume output. Each ATAK system is developed through extensive study of a vehicle's acoustical properties, with custom-tuned internal muffler cores calibrated for each application. This ATAK system is specifically tuned for the 2005-2008 Corvette C6. The system is handmade in the USA, constructed from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel, features mandrel bending by CNC machinery, and includes a Million-Mile Warranty.
