The CrateMuffler is designed to optimize both sound and power for crate and custom-built engines. This muffler features a directional design, with the outlet identified by a mounting bracket welded to the endcap. It is specifically tuned for the Chevrolet Small Block 350, 383, and 406 CID V8 engine family.

The directional construction delivers the classic S-Type sound and significantly reduces or eliminates drone in specified applications. Adding resonator 400938 will achieve a mellow Touring sound level. The muffler is constructed from premium T-304 stainless steel, offering enhanced performance and durability compared to T-400 series materials.
