The CrateMuffler is designed specifically to optimize sound and power for crate and custom-built engines. This muffler is directional, with the outlet identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap. It is tuned for the Chevrolet Small Block 283, 327, and 350 CID V8 engine family.

The directional design delivers the classic S-Type sound and significantly reduces or eliminates drone on specified applications. Adding resonator 400938 will achieve the Touring sound. The muffler is constructed from premium T-304 stainless steel for enhanced performance and durability.
