The CrateMuffler is designed to optimize both sound and power for crate and custom-built engines. This muffler features a directional design, with the outlet identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap. It is specifically tuned for the Chevrolet Small Block 350, 383, and 406 CID V8 engine family.

The directional construction delivers the classic S-Type sound while significantly reducing or eliminating drone on specified applications. Adding resonator 400939 will achieve the Touring sound profile. The muffler is constructed from premium T-304 stainless steel, offering enhanced performance and durability compared to T-400 series materials.
