The CrateMuffler is designed to optimize both sound and power for crate and custom-built engines. This muffler features a directional design, with the outlet identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap. It is specifically tuned for the Chevrolet LS3 6.2L V8 engine family.

The directional construction delivers the classic S-Type sound and significantly reduces or eliminates drone on specified applications. Adding resonator 400938 achieves a mellow Touring sound. The muffler is constructed from premium T-304 stainless steel for enhanced performance and durability compared to T-400 series materials.
