This muffler is developed for truck applications and other uses that require a long body muffler. It provides the classic S-Type sound and features un-notched necks designed for weld-in installation. If clamping is preferred, 3" wide band clamps should be used.

An alternate muffler with notched necks is available as part number 401625, which uses 1" wide band clamps. The reversible design allows for installation flexibility. High-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel construction ensures durability and resistance to rust.
