High-performance friction material and precision-manufactured steel discs.

Separator springs added to the hard-working C&E clutches minimize hub chatter, especially when paired with hard anodized hubs. These springs reduce drag and improve crossover performance, eliminating the usual downsides associated with increased plate counts, such as jerky behavior, multiple learning attempts, or chattery take-off performance.

The patent-pending steel-core splined hub design with an aluminum outer provides the strength of a steel hub without transmission-upsetting inertia. The hard anodized outers are chatter-resistant and feature additional oiling holes to optimize oil flow, ensuring temperature control of the denser clutch stacks.
