The EVENTURI G63 AMG intake system is engineered specifically for the 2025+ Mercedes G63 AMG W465 equipped with the M177 engine. This system represents a complete redesign of the OEM intake airboxes and airflow path, developed to maximize performance potential while maintaining full compatibility with factory cold air feeds.
Manufactured from 100% prepreg carbon fiber with no fiberglass content, the intake features CNC machined components and bespoke high-flow dry filters. The use of prepreg carbon allows for a smooth internal surface finish, which is critical for maintaining stable and uninterrupted airflow. By utilizing the additional space available under the hood, the total intake volume has been significantly increased, resulting in approximately 25% greater airflow capacity compared to the OEM airboxes.
The increased internal volume enables a smoother and more organic airflow path, allowing the turbochargers to draw air with reduced restriction. This reduction in intake resistance leads to a lower wastegate duty cycle, contributing to improved efficiency and enhanced overall engine performance.
To accommodate the increased size of the intake assemblies, the engine cover has been completely redesigned. The new cover is constructed from prepreg carbon fiber and features a red kevlar center section combined with a herringbone carbon weave, ensuring both functional clearance and a visually distinctive appearance.

Airbox Assemblies
The airbox assemblies feature a two-part construction with upper and lower sections separated by the filter panels. Each section is carefully shaped to maximize internal volume while maintaining a clear and unobstructed airflow path to the turbo inlets. Due to the compact nature of the G63 engine bay, increasing volume required precise optimization of the internal height of the airboxes.
The most significant improvement is achieved through enlarged upper airbox lids, which provide a substantial increase in internal capacity and allow for a smoother transition of airflow toward the turbochargers. Each airbox incorporates CNC machined components and dedicated brackets to ensure precise OEM-style fitment.
New for the W465 platform are additional breather modules positioned immediately before the airbox outlets. These modules are precision machined to accept the OEM breather ports, ensuring full functional integration.
The base of each airbox incorporates machined mounting points designed to locate perfectly within the factory rubber grommets, ensuring secure installation and vibration isolation.
Airbox Comparison
Direct comparison with the OEM airboxes highlights the increased volume and improved airflow path of the EVENTURI system. The factory setup uses a long, flexible cold air duct with a restricted cross-section, limiting airflow and reducing the ability of the airbox base to properly shape incoming air.
By integrating most of the cold air feed length directly into the airbox base, the EVENTURI design achieves a larger internal volume and a more organic airflow path, allowing the filter greater exposure and reducing turbulence.
The OEM airbox lid is further restricted by the close proximity of the filter panel to the turbo inlet, forcing airflow through a tight and uneven transition. This creates stagnant airflow zones across the filter surface, increasing resistance.
The EVENTURI design lowers the filter position, creating additional space for a smooth transition to the turbo inlet. This allows more effective use of the entire filter surface, reducing turbulence and minimizing drag on the turbochargers.
Engine Cover
The redesigned engine cover is required due to the increased intake volume. The OEM cover does not provide sufficient clearance for the larger intake assemblies. The new cover is manufactured from prepreg carbon fiber with a kevlar center section, ensuring both functional fitment and enhanced visual appeal.
Custom Panel Filters
Maximizing intake size required the development of bespoke panel filters. These high-flow dry filters utilize a multi-layer filtration medium and feature a curved profile to eliminate sharp internal corners within the airbox. This design minimizes turbulence while maintaining effective filtration performance.
