With the success of the existing range of Forge Motorsport product for the Renault Megane R.S 280/300, we have decided to further expand our tuning parts range for this vehicle. We are excited to release the FMTIA4 Turbo inlet adaptor.

Designed and developed by our highly skilled team on the SolidWorks CAD system, the all billet turbo adaptor and high flow silicone inlet pipe is proven to benefit your engines performance.

This is one of the weak links on many cars and the Megane was no exception with its intake system being restrictive, the narrow bore plastic inlet pipe restricts the air flow on stage 1 and 2 tuned vehicles.

The hours of development and testing are translated into the results you can see on the dyno graph below. This is a component which is proven to increase power.

Combined with our intake and high performance PRO-RAM air filter (FMINDK31) the gain from the turbo adaptor alone was an average 5 BHP along with a gain in torque it really transforms your driving experience, the power can be felt from just above 2900 RPM and helps keep a hard consistent pull all the way to the rev limiter.

Testing was completed on an independent dyno at Performance Remap in Gloucester on their VTEC 4 wheel-drive dynamometer.

The Forge developed turbo inlet adaptor improves your Meganes airflow in several ways; designed in a similar way to a conventional velocity stack it routes the air more directly into your turbo charger and allows more air to be compressed due to its larger capacity, this can have a positive effect on accelerating your vehicle after long deceleration or in between gear changes due to more air being kept within the intake system.

The Forge Motorsport turbo inlet adaptor and high flow inlet pipe has a capacity of more than 59% over the stock item. Not only will you notice the increased performance but a slight change in your engine acoustics can also be heard. As with all Forge Motorsport products we offer a no quibble lifetime guarantee on both the silicone hose and billet adaptor.

A commonly asked question is will this fit a competitor’s intake? the answer is yes it will fit other manufacturers intakes and fits to the original airbox.

This is a simple installation and a modification that releases even more power from the Renault’s motor and fitting takes typically around 30 minutes. The product includes a full set of comprehensive installation instructions to aid with fitting.
