This upgraded version of the direct-mount turbocharger produced a staggering 520 hp. (383 kW) and 425 ft-lb (576 Nm) of torque when tuned conservatively on the dyno. During flow testing, this high performance turbocharger delivered +20% compressor flow and +37% turbine flow compared to the original turbocharger. The latest generation of Garrett compressor and turbine wheel technology ensures maximum flow and efficiency for this turbocharger, all from OEM production.

But that's not all. The turbine wheel is made of Mar-M alloy, designed for temperatures up to 1050C. The stainless steel turbine housing with internal bypass valve is also rated for temperatures up to 1050C, ensuring durability and reliability in extreme conditions. In addition, the turbine housing wastegate channel has been optimized for more efficient flow and performance control. The PowerMax turbocharger also features a fully machined speed sensor port, so you can monitor turbo speed in your data logger or in Garrett's new G-Smart Bluetooth module (sold separately, part number 923586-0003).
