The GIRODISC A2-322 rear rotor kit is designed as a direct two-piece replacement for the OEM carbon ceramic rear rotors on BMW M2 (G87), M3 (G80), and M4 (G82). These rotors integrate with the factory carbon ceramic calipers and require the use of iron pad shapes, offering improved flexibility in pad selection and ease of servicing.

The rotor rings are machined from GiroDisc’s proprietary high-carbon cast iron for enhanced strength, thermal stability, and durability under track conditions. Featuring 72 curved internal vanes, the rotors function as centrifugal pumps, drawing air through the hub for improved cooling. The reusable hat, machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in black anodizing, is designed to accept new rings as needed.

All hardware—including cadmium-plated steel drive pins and precision fasteners—is produced in-house in the USA, ensuring high corrosion resistance and structural integrity. The use of Belleville washers and spring clips delivers a compliant, rattle-free floating system, making the rotors suitable for both aggressive track use and daily driving.
