Pressure seals and dust boots are often overlooked during brake maintenance, resulting in gradual degradation of pedal feel and travel over time. Older street car calipers can benefit from refreshed internal components to restore factory-fresh performance.
Recommendation: For tracked cars, calipers should be rebuilt every two to three track seasons to maintain optimal performance.
