The HKS 45999-AN003 Sensor Set is designed for use with the dedicated SR20 Crank Sensor Kit on Nissan vehicles equipped with the SR20DET engine. The factory system generates the crank angle signal through the cam angle sensor, allowing timing chain fluctuation to cause significant signal variation, particularly at high engine speeds.

When installed as part of the complete crank sensor system, the sensor set enables separate crankshaft and camshaft position signal detection. This configuration supports accurate engine speed recognition under high-load conditions. The trigger phase is optimized according to the crankshaft sensor position to support reliable engine starting performance.
