The K&N 50-3110 NextGen cold air intake system is engineered for CHEVROLET Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 models equipped with 5.3L or 6.2L V8 engines. The rotationally molded HDPE intake tube increases airflow volume by 30.8%, supporting dyno-proven gains of 19.07 horsepower and 19.37 lb-ft of torque without requiring ECU tuning. A washable, reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter™ with oiled cotton media provides long service intervals, while the oversized conical filter design allows up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal driving conditions. The custom-designed NextGen airbox reduces heat intrusion from the engine bay, and installation typically takes less than one hour.
