Description K&N 69-8751TR Performance Air Intake System TYPHOON (EU); TOYOTA COROLLA, L4-1.8L, RED
The K&N 69-8751TR Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed for select Toyota Corolla models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake, which is engineered to reduce air flow restriction by smoothing and straightening air flow.
This design allows the engine to draw in a larger volume of air compared to the factory intake, resulting in increased usable power and improved acceleration across the engine's RPM range. The system includes a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter that installs in the original air box location. Air is directed through the intake tube into the throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube features a durable red powder-coat finish and accommodates the factory mass air sensor.
The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. Installation is relatively easy, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points and basic hand tools.
