The KW DDC ECU coilover kit with integrated HLS Hydraulic Lift System is an application-specific suspension solution developed for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing. Designed to combine adaptive electronic damper control with height-adjustable coilover technology, this system delivers a balanced setup for road use while maintaining precise handling characteristics expected from an AMG platform.

The KW DDC ECU coilovers allow electronic adjustment of damping characteristics via predefined driving modes. Using the in-cabin KW DDC button or the optional KW DDC App, damping behavior can be selected between Comfort, Sport, and Sport+. The system automatically adapts damper characteristics to driving conditions and vehicle speed, with independent front and rear axle adjustment available via the app.

The integrated HLS Hydraulic Lift System provides additional ground clearance when required. Hydraulic cylinders mounted on each aluminum coilover strut allow the vehicle to be lifted on both axles by up to 45 mm, enabling safe passage over speed bumps, ramps, and steep inclines. The system is designed to avoid unwanted springing effects while driving and automatically lowers the vehicle at a defined speed based on the selected coilover setup.
