Mishimoto has developed a performance air intake engineered specifically for the 1999-2005 BMW E46 323i, 325i, and 328i. This intake is safe to use with the stock tune and will not affect air/fuel ratios under load. The intake produces a unique and aggressive tone under load, with a free-flowing design that amplifies engine induction sounds.

The stock intake duct is utilized to provide cool airflow to the high-flow Mishimoto oiled air filter, which offers increased filtration surface area compared to the stock paper filter. The filter can be cleaned and reused for a lifetime of service. The intake includes a steel heatshield with pre-assembled rubber trim to keep hot engine air out and help draw cold outside air into the filter.

This unit is a complete bolt-on that functions with the stock tune and can be installed in one hour using common hand tools. The performance air intake kit is also compatible with Mishimoto silicone intake hoses. The kit includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Note: Power gains may vary depending on other engine modifications, atmospheric conditions, ambient temperature, and vehicle mileage. Maximum published gains may not always be achieved.

Recommendation: For best performance, clean and re-oil the oiled air filter every 10,000–15,000 miles during normal driving. Inspect and service the filter more frequently if driving in dusty or off-road conditions. Filter re-oil is not included in the Lifetime Warranty.
