The Mishimoto carbon fiber catch can is designed with a 7.4 fluid ounce capacity and features a body constructed from 3K carbon fiber. This reduces weight while enhancing the appearance of the engine bay. The catch can includes a uniquely designed baffled insert to efficiently separate oil and blow-by contaminants from the PCV system.

Clean air passes through a high-flow filter material, which helps prevent oil droplets from escaping without restricting airflow, even in cold conditions. The catch can is equipped with a quarter-turn lid for easy fluid level checks and servicing. Both the carbon fiber catch can and filter are fully serviceable.

Recommendation: After installation, Mishimoto recommends checking the contents of the baffled catch can every 1,000 miles until a baseline is established. Oil blow-by accumulation will vary with ambient temperatures and driving conditions. It is important that the contents of the can do not rise above the internal baffle.
