Description MISHIMOTO MMRC-13L High Pressure 1.3 Bar Radiator Cap Large
Getting the most out of performance parts depends on attention to detail. Under hard driving conditions, a vehicle's cooling system can become highly pressurized. OEM caps are not designed to handle higher pressure, which can cause fluid to leak into the overflow reservoir.
The Mishimoto radiator cap is rated at a higher pressure and keeps coolant circulating within the system. It is rated at 1.3 Bar (19 psi) and fits most domestic vehicles with 42mm fill necks.
Note: Ensure that the radiator fill neck is measured for proper cap fitment. Locate the circular opening on top of the radiator, clean the area, and measure the diameter in millimeters using a ruler or caliper. Compare this measurement to radiator cap sizes to select the correct fit.
