A defective thermostat can cause engine overheating and potential internal damage. Enhance the reliability of the 2003-2024 Toyota 4Runner 4.0L cooling system with a Mishimoto Low-Temperature Racing Thermostat and housing.

This thermostat is designed as a direct-fit replacement for the stock unit. It features a lower activation temperature of 71ºC/160ºF compared to the factory thermostat's 82ºC/180ºF, allowing coolant to circulate earlier and helping to maintain lower engine temperatures. The thermostat is suitable for warmer climates, vehicles with increased power, or under extreme towing and driving conditions. The stock-style housing ensures a proper seal and straightforward installation.
