Description MISHIMOTO MMTS-GTI-99 VW GTI 1.8T Racing Thermostat, 1999-2005

The Mishimoto racing thermostat for the 1999-2005 Volkswagen GTI 1.8T is designed to promote greater cooling efficiency in both stock and modified GTI models. Once the engine is fully warmed up, this thermostat opens at a lower temperature than standard thermostats, allowing coolant to flow through the engine sooner.

This helps to reduce and maintain cooler engine temperatures. The Mishimoto 1999-2005 Volkswagen GTI 1.8T racing thermostat is a direct replacement for the stock thermostat and is suitable for both street and track applications. The thermostat includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
