The MISHIMOTO MMTS-VET-14 Racing Thermostat is engineered to improve cooling system performance for GM LT-series engines used in a wide range of CHEVROLET, GMC, and CADILLAC vehicles. Designed for racing applications, the thermostat opens at a significantly lower temperature than the factory unit, allowing coolant to circulate earlier and helping maintain reduced engine operating temperatures under high-load conditions.

With a 160°F activation temperature compared to the OEM 212°F thermostat, the system improves thermal management for modified and performance-oriented engines. The thermostat is designed as a direct-fit replacement and installs into compatible GM thermostat housings for precise fitment and reliable operation.
