The RECARO Pole Position (ABE) in Black Leather represents the Classic interpretation of the road-legal racing shell originally developed from the RECARO seat used in the Porsche 964 RS. It combines authentic vintage styling with modern safety compliance, eliminating the compromise between classic aesthetics and contemporary approval standards.

Manufactured as a one-piece shell, the Pole Position (ABE) is available in glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) or optional carbon-Kevlar® fabric (CFRP). Its optimized ergonomics, pronounced lateral support, and integrated headrest provide secure seating for dynamic road and track use. The seat is certified with ABE/TÜV component approval, making it suitable for street applications when installed according to regulations.
