The RECARO P1300 GT LW represents the next evolutionary step in professional racing seat development. Engineered for GT, sportscar, and touring car competition, this lightweight racing shell is homologated to FIA 8862-2009 (Advanced Racing Seat). It combines reduced mass, advanced safety technology, and individual adjustability for professional motorsport applications.

The seat shell is constructed from ultra-strong carbon reinforced plastic and incorporates shock-absorbing foam to enhance impact protection. Compared to previous versions, the optimized production process enables an approximate 1.3 kg weight reduction. Integrated side head protection, aggressive thigh and torso bolsters, and built-in lumbar support ensure high levels of driver stability and spinal protection under extreme conditions. The P1300 GT LW is HANS compatible, features dedicated harness guides, and supports 4-, 5-, and 6-point harness systems. A flexible sidemount with 130 mm longitudinal adjustment and interchangeable pad kits allow precise customization, making it suitable for racing environments with frequent driver changes.
