Description RECARO 7202121 Side Airbag Sensor Deception for VOLKSWAGEN / AUDI / ALFA ROMEO / FIAT
The RECARO 7202121 side airbag sensor deception kit is designed for use when replacing factory seats equipped with side airbags with RECARO sport or racing seats that do not include integrated airbags. It consists of a wiring adapter with an integrated resistor to simulate the presence of an airbag.
By emulating the airbag signal, the system prevents airbag warning messages from appearing on the instrument cluster. This allows the vehicle’s remaining safety systems, such as front airbags and seatbelt pretensioners, to continue operating under standard conditions after seat replacement.
- Simulates side airbag presence to prevent dashboard warning signals
- Required when installing seats without integrated side airbags
