Description SACHS PERFORMANCE 003002002120 Clutch Pressure Plate RCS 140
Consistent clamp load and defined torque capacity: the SACHS RCS pressure plate from ZF Motorsport is a key module of the RCS 140 sintered-metal motorsport clutches. It transfers the diaphragm spring force to the friction pack and largely determines how much torque the clutch can safely transmit over its service life. Together with the matching intermediate plates and sintered discs, it ensures precise, repeatable clutch response.
The pressure plate is made of high-strength steel with a precisely machined friction face. Designed as a service part for modular multi-plate systems, it is tailored to the specific RCS clutch version. This preserves the defined diaphragm-spring geometry without replacing the clutch cover.
Overhaul Note: Always check the pressure plate for run-out, thickness, and surface condition. If warpage or wear exceeds allowable limits, replace it together with the friction and intermediate plates. Only then will the torque capacity, pedal feel, and shift quality of the SACHS motorsport clutch remain at race level.
