The SACHS RCS 140 adapter plate is a precisely fitting connecting element between the flywheel and the modular SACHS RCS racing clutch. It provides the required contour, acts as a replaceable friction partner, and protects the flywheel from direct wear.

It enables clean centring, reproducible installation, and a flywheel-friendly design, particularly with high-quality motorsport flywheels or flywheels without a suitable RCS contour.

Note: The adapter plate is designed specifically for SACHS RCS 140 racing clutches. Selection and installation must match the flywheel, clutch version, friction material, and application profile.

  • Function: Installed between the flywheel and clutch, it prevents wear from occurring directly on the flywheel and simplifies clutch system maintenance.
  • RCS contour: Provides the required geometry when the matching contour cannot be machined directly into the flywheel or when the flywheel requires protection from wear.
  • Centring: Centred in the flywheel on the outer diameter for axial runout, radial runout, and even loading of the clutch components.
