Compared with RCS 140 discs, the 184 mm version offers higher thermal capacity and wear reserve for stable performance over long stints and extended service life. Compared with RCS 200, it provides a tighter package, lower rotational inertia, and quicker response.

The 7.8 mm sintered friction material remains consistent through repeated race starts and long heat cycles. Riveted friction material ensures consistent friction, reliable Torque transfer, a precise bite point, and predictable engagement under repeated full-load launches.
