The SACHS RCS sintered clutch disc combines compact dimensions with additional wear allowance. Its 115 mm diameter minimizes rotating mass and frees packaging space in tight monocoques, while the 3.4 mm lining thickness provides more wear allowance and thermal capacity than 2.6 mm.
The sintered friction lining is sintered directly onto the carrier plate, creating a stiff friction pair with a precise bite point, aggressive launches, and fast engagement. It is suitable for single-seaters and prototypes.
The 3.4 mm specification balances weight and durability, providing a low moment of inertia for instant Throttle response, longer service life, and more stable friction than 2.6 mm. The result is reliable Torque transfer, consistent performance, and reduced service effort.
