The SACHS RCS 200 2.6 sintered clutch disc combines a 200 mm diameter and 2.6 mm friction material thickness for high torque capacity with very low rotating mass. It delivers ultra-fast response, a crisp bite point, and rapid engagement for high-power touring car, GT, and rally applications.

The friction material is directly sintered onto the carrier plate. This stiff construction provides direct pedal feel and clean power transfer. Compared with 7.8 mm variants, the 2.6 mm version is lighter and more agile, trading some wear thickness and thermal reserve for sprint, qualifying, and short-load applications.

The 200 mm diameter provides more friction area and heat dissipation. RCS 200 offers greater torque capacity and thermal headroom than RCS 140 and RCS 184 while retaining low inertia through the 2.6 mm friction material.

Technology

The SACHS RCS 200 2.6 uses sintered-metal friction material. Compared with organic discs, it withstands heat more effectively, tolerates higher rpm, and is less sensitive to dirt and oil.

Its sintered friction material provides immediate response, a hard launch, and snap engagement. The higher torque capacity suits powerful race cars. As part of the modular SACHS RCS 200 clutch system, it is matched to circuit racing, touring cars, and rally stages.

SACHS RCS hub

SACHS RCS 200 2.6 clutch discs are available with different hub splines matched to the gearbox input shaft, providing correct fit, reliable torque transfer, and durability in racing use.

Multiple hub lengths—extra-short, short, medium, and long—are available to suit the available space and release geometry. The modular RCS 200 system enables a tailored racing clutch with low inertia, performance, and service life.
