Description SACHS PERFORMANCE 883089000113 SRE Motorsports Clutch Kit and One Mass Flywheel

The SRE Motorsports clutch kit and single-mass flywheel are offered at a special price. The kit combines a reinforced SACHS Performance pressure plate, a torsion-sprung SACHS Racing clutch disc with sinter-pad clutch lining, and a single-mass flywheel. It provides a simple replacement for the existing clutch and flywheel.

The original dual-mass flywheel is replaced by a Lightweight SACHS Performance steel single-mass flywheel. Reduced rotating mass enables faster engine revving, significantly improved Throttle response, and less stress on the crankshaft and bearings.

For motorsport only.

  • The SACHS racing clutch provides significantly higher transmittable Torque, reduced sensitivity to thrust loads, and very high thermal load capacity compared with a standard clutch.
  • Shorter release travel enables faster, sportier shifting. The clutch module is Designed for motorsport use and extremely performance-enhanced vehicles.
  • The pressure plate diaphragm spring provides high transmittable engine Torque through its shape, material, and sporty characteristics.
  • The sinter-pad clutch disc offers high thermal resilience, greater resistance at high rpm, and a higher coefficient of friction than conventional organic clutch linings.

The pressure plate is firmly bolted to the flywheel and, when engaged, transmits engine Torque to the clutch disc through the housing, tangential leaf springs, and pressure plate. Its design is determined by the heat capacity of the pressure plate and the pressure and release force of the diaphragm spring.

The sintered metal clutch lining allows harder starts with abrupt clutch engagement and is particularly resistant to dirt and oil. The torsion-sprung clutch disc dampens engine vibrations and protects the transmission. Stronger torsion dampers allow higher maximum engine Torque to be transmitted.

Due to the reduced mass and stiffer connection resulting from the removal of the original dual-mass flywheel, increased transmission noise and vibrations cannot be ruled out.
