The SPEED ENGINEERING 13501 Front Axle Brake Cooling Kit is designed for the front axle of the HONDA Civic Type R FK8. The factory-fitted air intakes provide efficient airflow to the wheel arch but do not create a direct path to the centre of the brake discs / brake rotors.

The air inlet ducts are positioned where the diverted air exits in front of the tyres and are secured using the supplied rivets. A short hose connects each air inlet to the outlet using existing mounting points, creating a plug-and-play solution based on existing vehicle components.

The outlets direct airflow into the centre of the brake discs / brake rotors for efficient cooling. This layout supports direct airflow delivery while keeping hose routing short and installation straightforward.

Road Use: Motorsport parts are not approved for road use.

Installation Note: Uses existing mounting points and supplied rivets.

Fitment / Vehicle compatibility Note: Models vary slightly in wheel position, suspension geometry, and wheel and tyre combinations. In some cases, the wheel may lightly touch at full steering lock, and the final ¼ of the steering travel should be avoided.
